The Symphony series intermediate violin is a replica of the 1742 Lord Wilton model by Guarneri. There are few violins on the market with the 1742 model, but we are very familiar with this model, so the parameters of our violin are the most accurate. Jesus Guarneri's 1742 Lord Wilton is one of his later works. Our replica violin has a sensitive response and a crisp tone. When making this model and the series of violins, we also seek the same high-quality wood to replicate the "Lord Wilton." The flame pattern on this series of violins is particularly prominent and made of classic wood. I highly recommend purchasing this intermediate violin. Features of the Symphony series intermediate violin:
100% hand-carved, using "master-grade" Swiss spruce wood, while the back, sides, and scroll are made of German imported maple wood. Good tonewood results in better sound. At the same time, our violin-making craftsmanship has always been leading the way.
We select tonewood that has been dried for at least 15 years, choosing the best tonewood to make our violins more professional.
The fingerboard is carved from 100% ebony. The fine rosewood tailpiece and chinrest, along with finely carved rosewood pegs.
One fine tuner is included with the rosewood tailpiece. If you require more fine tuners, please leave a message when placing your order.
The violin uses a European imported spruce soundpost with finely even annual rings, split with an axe to ensure optimal sound transmission.
The varnish is 100% hand-polished oil-based varnish, providing a vintage-style appearance that is elegant inside and out.
The violin is shipped with Tonica strings installed. If you prefer Dominant 135B strings, please indicate it in the order notes for a free upgrade!
The finely carved French Aubert bridge offers exceptional sound performance.
It is equipped with a high-specification "Luthiersviolin Set Up" with over 10 adjustments, improving the sound and increasing playing comfort of the Symphony series violin.
